Top Notch offers 1:1 and small group sewing and pattern classes which can be viewed in the menu above or email me for more info. One-to-one bookings are available from mid October.

Featured Sewing Classes: 

* Sewing Machine Drivers Licence adults class this Saturday, 12 September - 2 spaces left!

* Adults 2-day workshop 3 Oct and 31 Oct, 10 -3:30 to sew a Trench Coat - 2 spaces left!

* Saturday Sewing Classes for adults and kids have started with sewing an A-line skirt for the month of September. There is a new project to sew each month and use of a sewing machine is included for all classes, though you can bring your own if you prefer. Book the classes you like or book them all! Each month has a stand-alone project. There is a maximum of 3-4 students per group class. If a class is full please join the waiting list or email me .

**Special Note: there will now also be an adults sewing class once a month on Friday mornings! We will be sewing the same project as the Saturday class and focusing on a new skill each month.

Saturday sewing classes for adults and children can be booked in advance, so check out the monthly projects and dates here . Fabric is included plus a pattern to take home and these small group classes are suitable for confident beginners upwards.

Two-Day Workshops for adults are open for booking and from now until next Summer we are focusing on

The Capsule Wardrobe. featuring a trench coat, collared shirt, trousers and other wardrobe essentials. ​​​

Kids/Teens Holiday Sewing Clubs are available during school holidays where children can cut and sew something to take home, plus fabric is included in the cost of £59 . The next availability is in the October half term, but to find out more or to book please click  here .

If you would like to learn to sew, the next Sewing Machine Driver's Licence group class with availability is on

12 September but the Sewing Licence class can also be done as a one-to-one lesson at time to suit you. In this class you will learn the basics of using a sewing machine and children can learn to sew from 8 years old upwards. There are also other beginners classes available so click here for beginners classes or see the top menu.

At the Top Notch shop you can buy haberdashery when you attend a class, or email me for a time to visit. Items for sale include notchers, tracing wheels, Schmetz sewing needles, point turners, ironing rulers and more!​

​Sewing or pattern ​Tutoring can be booked per hour. All classes must be pre-booked. You can see any group class schedule or book classes in each separate class page. Book with a buddy for a discount or email me for a code if booking a 1:1 class for a child.

Classes are held in Orpington BR5 (address given upon booking).
